What it does. Keeps a library of papers on one hard problem and lets a person ask that library in plain language. Answers stay inside the papers. When the papers do not cover the question, the system says so. Current demo: a lunar compute brief organized around decision stops (reactors, lift, time, cost).
Why it matters. Most AI answers are plausible, not sourced. Tranquility answers only from the record and states when the record is silent.
Problems solved. Grounding, hallucination, out-of-corpus honesty.
